Team Meeting - October 2, 2013 7 PM - Wednesday
Very briefly, we covered:

Finances - overall we are doing well financially. This year, profits were down a little from last year due to return from the events, higher fees to run races etc. We budgeted enough for year end bonus and travel in 2013.

Bonus Process - look for a note from Dottie, but we are moving toward a fall process that mimics rest of year. Thus, all should complete races by month for Sept - Dec. This includes all races done during month, including road, CX, etc. Please complete bonus sheets for September now.

Clothing - look for a note from Robert on a fall order shortly. Spring order will be done in February.

Membership - good year for membership, but we need to make sure that all members have also signed our team insurance waiver for coverage. Larry Dudek will let you know if this is still outstanding.

2014 Promotions - early to finalize schedule, but we expect Cape May TT, Somerset Circuit, Flanders TT, and the Junior RR back as definites. Readington TT parking needs to be reviewed as Briarwood Fark Horse business is closing end of November. Their lease is up, so we need to work with the property owner to ensure we have parking secured. It looks like we will be moving on from Giro Del Cielo after we close out this year's finances. It was a long successful partnership and we expect that Skylands will run this race exclusively next year. We may consider adding a women's field to the Junior RR in Ringoes, but more to follow on that. Lastly, we discussed a potential mountain bike event or cyclocross partnership to make up for some lost income. Still in discussion phase.

CX Races/Cup/Results- 4 MAC races and the openers completed for NJ and PA Cups. Great results so far. Congrats to Rick Anderson (Westwood Velo 50+) and Matt Bruno (Town Hall Cat 4) for wins this past weekend. Lots of new team members tackling CX, and, we think, enjoying it. Includes Nick Agnello, Bob Gebel, Ken Drake, etc. The upcoming weekend includes the Providence CX festival, Deep Blue TT and Beer Festival in Delaware, and 2 races in Bridgeton as part of the NJ CX Cup.

Website - did not discuss last night, but we need more pictures for website for Bob - especially our new National champs.

The next meeting in November will likely be at a sponsor location. We are inquiring if the new Go Ryde location is viable and we will have a sponsor presentation. We expect all of our sponsors to come back (at least no one said they won't!!) for 2014. November meeting date and agenda to follow.

Lastly, during the CX season, we do need some of our team riders/racers to come out and help with group rides. It is a great time for training and we'd like to continue organizing our Somerset weekend rides. For those doing CX, races will not really end until December. There are some open days, but not too many in the schedule. We also expect to have a Junior Committee discussion before the holidays to set up plans for 2014.

Good luck to all racing this weekend and continue to enjoy the great weather. For those who attended, please let me know if I missed anything.
Thanks.
Chuck
