PARTY TIME !!
Come join Team Somerset celebrate their 80th anniversary at the Tour of Somerville on May 30th. The team will have a tent on the courthouse lawn to display memorabilia and sell items to support Team Somerset programs. The race organizers have provided time in the program for all previous and present members to take a lap of honor. This is really something special and I strongly encourage you all to participate. Contact those you know who used to be members and get them on their bikes to do the 1.2 mile lap. (There are 4 seats in the lead car). I would like to see at least 100 Somersets wave to the crowd. The lap of honor will be after the kid sprints and before the Mildred Kugler Women's race, about 2 p.m.
Team Somerset will provide dessert for the VIP tent. Please contact me if you can bake or donate a dessert. We will be setting up our tent at 10 a.m. and I will need people to man/woman our space in 1½ to 2 hour shifts until about 6 p.m. Please let me know your availability. (R.S.V.P. Dottie)
